Best time to visit the Maldives:

The Maldives has a tropical monsoon climate which includes two dominating seasons. One is the wet season and another is the dry season. The wet season lasts from May to October. And the dry season lasts from November to April.

In the wet season, you may face storms and heavy rainfalls, so the dry season is the ideal time to visit the most preferred holiday destination. The dry season is also perfect for water sports, sunbathing, and street shopping.

During the monsoon time from July to September, heavy rainfall is observed in Darjeeling. Hence, you may face roadblocks this season. But if you want to watch the beauty of rain in mountains, you must plan a vacation at that time.

Tour Program: 7 Nights and 8 Days

Day 1: Hulhumale

After reaching Male International Airport in the Maldives, the first day spent at Hulhumale Island in your tour itinerary. There are many activities to do on the island. Serene blue view and white sand will renovate your energy quickly.

Day 2: Hulhumale to Male to Maafushi

On the second day, go to the Hulhumale port to ride a local boat for Male city. Here, local boats pass in every 30 minutes at Hulhumale. Take a ride on any boat and arrive at Male. Here you can visit the largest mosque in Male, then visit the Villingili Ferry Terminal on the journey to Maafushi. After reaching Villingili port walk towards Villingili Beach within walking distance from the port. After spending a fun time, take the 3 PM boat towards Maafushi. It will take approximately 2 hours to reach Maafushi. On the route watch the magnificent views.

Day 3: Exploring Maafushi

Maafushi is an idyllic place with an abundance of stunning seaside, adventure activities, and scrumptious seafood. Many things to do here, you can explore the beaches. In Maafushi, the four main beaches are Public Beach, Bikini Beach, Water Sports Beach, and Coral Beach. You can do many water activities like snorkeling and diving. The Maldives is a paradise for underwater marine life. Book snorkeling and diving tours at the local diving centers to troll the marine life.

Then visit the sandbank amid crystalline turquoise water. Relish sitting in the pristine white sand while enjoying the lovely views of the sea. Dolphin Safari is something you must not miss. It will be a wonderful experience to see the school of dolphins playing gracefully in the waters.

Day 4: Maafushi to Fihalhohi

Take a speedboat and reach Fihalhohi. It is the last island of South Male and a place for the famous overwater bungalows in the Maldives. The place has an enchanting view of the Indian Ocean. The beach resorts are equally adorable palm-thatched roofs and a private terrace overlooking the island terrain. You can feel the beauty and relax here. Or you can indulge yourself in an exotic spa treatment if you wish.

Day 5: Back to Maafushi

On day five, return to Maafushi from Fihalhohi. And on this day, take your time to explore the place by yourself. Visit the souvenir shops. You can buy the souvenirs for friends or family from here.

Day 6: Maafushi to Fulidhoo

Another island paradise of Maldives is Fulidhoo. It is a tiny island, has only 675x200 m. Reach here by speedboat or public ferry. Public ferries running from Male to Fulidhoo have a stoppage at Maafushi in between. The main beach here is gorgeous, where you can indulge in snorkeling, diving, and kayaking in the lagoon. Also, there are some guest houses on this island for accommodation.

Day 7: Fulidhoo to Male

Male is the capital city of Maldives. You can experience and watch the culture of Maldives by exploring its capital Male. After arriving at Male from Maafushi, keep the day for exploring this crowded capital on your own. Here, you can visit the stunning Sultan’s Park, the President's Palace, Mulee Aage, and the National Museum. You can visit the mosque if not on Day 2 (optional). Here you can find several sophisticated dining with International and Indian fare.

Day 8: Departure

With the beautiful memories depart from Male towards your home.
